Timeless Wedding Photos Effortlessly Captured
Every wedding is unique, but my goal is always the same. Honest, elegant photos that feel like you. I plan every detail in advance so your day flows naturally: we’ll discuss timeline, light, and locations, and I’ll guide you just enough to keep things relaxed and real.
I keep the pace calm, step in when needed, and leave space for you to enjoy your day so I can capture genuine emotion. The result? Photographs that look like you – joyful, natural, and timeless.
On The Day…..
I will be with you 3 hours before your ceremony begins capturing the day as it starts to unfold. It’s where the story begins. Photos of the dress, flowers, shoes. I love to capture all the detail. A few preparation photos all the time whilst being very unobtrusive. You wont even know I’m there. A few photos of your other half. And once you are ready its on to the ceremony.
If you’re getting married in a church or getting ready somewhere other than your venue, no problem. I will allocate extra time if needed. No extra cost.
From here on I simply capture the day. From the ceremony to the party after the first dance. If you are doing a confetti line I’m there to organise the guests for you and announce you as the new happily married couple. When I started out in 2006 I dreaded the confetti line. Now, I really enjoy them. It gives me a great chance to introduce myself to the guests. Tell them if they want their own family portrait or photos during the day to simply come see me. I like people to know I am approachable.
After the ceremony/confetti I blend into the day capturing candid photos of you and your guests enjoying the day before we move onto any group photos if you require them. I would advise you to write a list to make sure you don’t forget anyone on the day. The list also helps speed up the process on the day and I use it to call every person needed. There is some great advice on my blog to help with group photos.
Once the group photos are finished I spend some time photographing the room layout and table decorations. Then I’m back to capturing the day as it unfolds. The love. The hugs. The jokes and the laughter. The kids playing. The guests drinking shots. All the while trying my best to blend into the day so I can really capture your wedding in the most authentic way.
While the guests are being seated for your meal I will invite you both to join me on a walk around the venue to get some photos of you both together. Here I will help guide you from some simple poses to capture you both as naturally as possible.
Speeches are then photographed and on to the evening. Again, lots of natural candid photos of everyone enjoying themselves. If you want some evening photos, a sunset, a lit up hallway, the venue in lights, I will capture that before we move onto the cutting of the cake followed by the first dance.
I stay for a little while to capture everything as the party gets started, then it’s off home to start on the editing and getting everything ready for you.
Your Wedding USB is delivered in 4 to 5 weeks of the Wedding Day. Most weddings average 400 to 600 photos. And you receive every photo in full colour and black & white. Logo free. High resolution. Free for you to print and share as much as you like.
If you have ordered a printed wedding album a proof of your wedding album design will be on your USB. From here you can let me know if you want any changes made. Once you are happy with the design it takes about 3 weeks to come back from the printers.
